Joan Shirley Thomas, age 81, passed away on May 14, 2019. She was born in Homer, LA on December 9, 1937 to Jack Hood and Rose Kountze Hood.

Left to honor her memory is her daughter, Tina Oxner and husband, Richard; sons, Ronald Paul Jannise and wife, Monica and John Alvin Jannise Jr. and wife, Carolyn; sister, Dora Jannise; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and extended family.

Joan is Preceded in death by her parents.
