Jennifer Lynn Davis, age 50, passed away on July 4, 2019. She was born on April 30, 1969 in Wichita Falls, TX to Michael Maurer and Frances.
Loving and just the right amount of goofy, Jennifer was God’s gift to every child that met her, she loved children and they shared that love right back. She was young at heart with a knack for adventure, expressing her ability to enjoy life came naturally and her charisma was infectious to all who met her. Her compassion for others was apparent, she tried to see the best in people, regardless of their circumstances. She was loyal and selfless and would never turn her back on the people she loved. When Jennifer had Jessica, destiny was fulfilled, she loved spending time together, going on picnics and even the occasional concert to prove her youthfulness was still intact and keep her status as the “cool mom”. Jennifer was loving sister to her siblings, due to an age difference, she was an impromptu parent at times and developed a love for parenting at a young age, that love carried over to her son, daughter and her marvelous grandchildren. She was an amazing person, with a pure love, she will be missed greatly by her family and all that knew her, but the joy that she created will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Jessica Davis of Baytown, TX; parents, Frances and Micheal Maurer of Beaumont, TX; son, Brian Davis of Beaumont, TX; spouse, Albert Huffman of Beaumont, TX; brother, Christopher Maurer and wife, Tiffiny of Vidor, TX; sisters, Emily Dupree and husband, Glenn of Beaumont, TX, Melissa Bentson and husband, Mark of Allen, TX; grandmother Margaret Haney of Beaumont, TX; grandchildren, Bella, Bradden, Brook, Bryson, Brian Jr., Ben and Allison; aunts, Paulette Alton and Vernette Goza; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
