Jason Michael Tampke

Jason Michael Tampke, 40, of Lumberton, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2018. Jason was born to Michael Addison Tampke and Brenda Jean Hooks on Sunday, May 21, 1978 in Conroe, Texas. Jason was a hard worker who enjoyed his job as an electrician for Motiva and provided well for his family. Jason was blessed to have 3 wonderful children, Addison- 8 years old, McKay-5 years old, and Quinn-20 months; Jason was a caring and doting Daddy to his kids and could always be depended on to do anything for them. Whenever possible Jason spent time outdoors hunting and fishing and was known to be resourceful- able to build anything with his hands. Jason will be remembered as a good friend, a hard worker, a devoted family man, and above all, Daddy.

 Left to cherish Jason’s memory are, his father Michael Tampke; his mother and step-father, Brenda Hooks and husband Barner; his ex-wife, Hayley Tampke; beloved children, Addison Tampke, McKay Tampke, and Quinn Tampke; brothers, Brandon Tampke and wife Carolann and family, Michael Paul Tadlock and wife Lindsey and family, Brian Hooks and wife Ashlyn and family, and Timothy Hooks and wife Amber and family; and sister, Amy Dirnberger and husband Dustin and family.

The Family will receive friends on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Chapel at Lumberton Family Funeral Home.  A Life Honoring Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Lumberton Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Centerville, Texas on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 3pm.
