James Savoy Justice, 87, of Lumberton, Texas passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018. James was born on December 1, 1930 to James Otis and Voncie Matilda Justice in Slocomb, Alabama. James met and married the love of his life, Joan Gertrude Hamilton in 1948; he continued to work in the family fields in Alabama for 4 years. In 1952 James and Joan moved to Beaumont, Texas. James worked for Kirby Industries in Silsbee; he would retire from there in 1993. After retirement, James spent his time gardening, but he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. James liked to share his vegetables with his many friends and relatives.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Justice; a son, Savoy McKaine (Butch) Justice; a daughter, Jennifer Kay Justice; and a grandson, Steve Justice, Jr.
James is survived by 3 sons, Steve Allen Justice, and wife, Nancy, Mikael Bruce (Mike) Justice, and wife Martha, and Tracy Earl Justice; a daughter, Judith Amilia Rogers, and husband, Gene; 19 grandchildren; as well as other family members and friends.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 2:00pm at R.S. Farmer Cemetery, Silsbee, Texas
