Irwin John Meinscher, age 76, passed from this life on January 30, 2019. He was born to Julius And Anna Meinscher on February 16, 1942 in Beaumont, TX.
Irwin was a man of character and integrity, He was faithful to his family and in all of his endeavors. The depth of love he showed towards his family was immeasurable; he never missed a sporting event or achievement that his grandchildren or great-grandchildren were involved with. He had the spirit of a servant and the heart of a giver, even in his weakest days he refused to allow a sickness to dictate his quality of life. Irwin loved to spoil the love of his life, preparing breakfast and coffee for His bride, Joann, gave Him great joy. As a lifetime resident of South East Texas, he greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing. The great outdoors was his playground. Irwin truly loved nature and anything he could do to be in it. He had a blessed career with Exxon Mobil as an inspector for nearly 40 years and was known for his ability to make and keep relationships. Irwin was a kind and gentle soul, one that was loved dearly by all who knew him.
Irwin is survived by his loving wife, JoAnn Meinscher; sons, Donald Brett Meinscher, James DeFord and wife, Virginia; daughters, Cathie Jo Floyd and husband, Tyrus, Kimothy Lee Dixon and husband, Chris; brothers, Ted Meinscher and wife, Marlene, Richard Meinscher; grandchildren, Jessi Summers, Sabrina Torres, Collin Westmoreland, Courtney Meinscher, Kayla Cummins, Aaron Dixon; great grandchildren; Kaden Summers, Koen Summers, Preston Torres, Sloane Westmoreland, Towns Westmoreland.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Ann Daleo.
