Ima Jean Flowers

 Ima Jean Flowers, 70, of Woodville, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018.  Ima Jean was born on October 9, 1947 in Silsbee, Texas to Will and Evie Hooks.  Ima Jean married the love of her life, Guy Wayne Flowers on January 5, 1963; they were married for 55 years.

Ima Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and she was a very good homemaker.  Ima Jean loved The Lord and she attended the Church of Christ of Town Bluff, Texas; her faith was a big part of her life and she was faithful in her attendance until her health would no longer allow her to attend. 

Ima Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Evie Hooks; daughter Beverly Jean Doucette of Dam B, Texas

Ima Jean is survived by her loving husband, Guy Wayne Flowers; Daughters, LaJeana Ann Roberts, and husband, Michael, of Groves, Texas, and Janie Waynette Leger, and husband, Grady, of Dam B, Texas; grandchildren, Morice Doucette, and wife Victoria, of Dam B, Texas, Kaley McFarland, and husband, Ryan, of Lumberton, Texas, Richard Faite Browning, and Tiffany Thompson II, of Buna, Texas, Guy Sanford, of Beaumont, Texas, Tehya Nicole Thompson, of Ava, Illinois, Ivy Roberts, and M.P. Roberts, of Friendswood, Texas; great granddaughter, Gracie LeAnn Doucette, of Dam B, Texas; a brother, Norman G. Hooks, of Silsbee, Texas; and sisters, Dorothy Lavone Gordon, of Austin, Texas, and Eva Weeks, of Silsbee, Texas.
