Gayle Floyd
September 6, 1949 ~ May 31, 2017 (age 67) 67 Years OldGayle Floyd, 67, of Lumberton, passed away Wednesday May 31, 2017. She was born September 6, 1949 in Birmingham, Alabama. Gayle was a retired Allstate Insurance Agent. She was an active member of her church at the First Baptist Church of Loeb. She enjoyed traveling and sight-seeing with her husband. She was talented when it came to arts and crafts and she was a member of the church choir and also played the hand bells. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren and attending their many extracurricular activities. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Eugene Ray Goswick; mother, Evelyn Goswick Taylor; and step-father, Paul Taylor.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Randy Floyd of Lumberton; daughters, Tina Floyd Siau of Lumberton, and Crystal Reed and husband, Marc of Beaumont; grandchildren, Wyatt Siau, Whitney Floyd, Taylor Reed, and Kendall Reed; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Her family will receive friends at Lumberton Family Funeral Home Sunday June 4, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday June 5, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Loeb, officiated by Reverend Ronnie Burke. Interment will follow at Hooks Cemetery in Kountze.
Serving as pallbearers will be Wyatt Siau, Marc Reed, Taylor Reed, Clayton Caywood, Milton C. Floyd, and John Boykin. Honorary pallbearers are Don Floyd and Howard Etheredge.
