Eloise Theresa (Griffin) Lebouef

Eloise Theresa Lebouef, 48, of Groves, Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 surrounded by family and friends.  Eloise suffered with Grace for over 3 years as she battled cancer.  Her family described her as tough, loyal, dependable, strong, and most of all, as a loving Mom.  Eloise enjoyed cooking, fishing, and being outdoors.  She was creative and crafty, and children gravitated toward her, which were assets when she was the director of a daycare.  Eloise was a long-time member of Abundant Life Sanctuary in Groves, Texas. 

Eloise is preceded in death by her parents, Eloise Griffin and Virgie Ordoyne Lebouef; 2 sisters, Elma Griffin, and Samantha Guidry; 3 brothers, Roddy Griffin, Floyd Griffin, and Rodney Griffin; a brother-in-law, Jeffrey Pietre.

Eloise is survived by her children, daughter, Chelsea Petteway, and son, Caleb Hartman; a brother, John Lebouef, and wife, Wendy, of Cutoff, Louisiana; sisters, Rose English, and husband, Dennis, of Groves, Texas, Barbara Lebouef, of Cutoff, Louisiana, and Sally Lebouef, of Cutoff, Louisiana.

Life Honoring Services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Abundant Life Sanctuary in Groves, Texas.
