Dora Lynn McClelland

Dora Lynn McClelland, 66, of Kountze, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.

Dora was born on February, 1, 1952 in Silsbee, Texas to George and Ellen Sangwin. Dora met Bobby McClelland at the local skating rink and their love for each other just “rolled” on from there. Her Pentecostal faith gave her strength for many years. Nothing could stop Dora from enjoying a dance session as she loved to dance at any opportunity. She was a loving wife for 45 years as well as an amazing caregiver. Her children all agree that she was an incredible mother who was straight out honest, strict but loving, and “didn’t take mess from anyone.”

Dora is preceded in death by her parents, George and Ellen Sangwin and two of her sons; Anthony Shane McClelland and John Eric McClelland, and grandchild Katelyne Shay McClelland.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bobby McClelland; sons, Bobby Allen McClelland and wife, Lilly, Timothy Ray McClelland; Daughter, Linda Anderson and husband, Billbo; many loving Siblings; and grandchildren Terry Calvin Anderson, Heather Nicole Swearingen, Bobby Allen McClelland Jr., and Chase Anthony McClelland.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for contributions towards final expenses. All donations may be made directly with the funeral home.
