Donna Sue Chaney

Donna Sue Chaney, age 47 passed away Thursday July 13, 2017. She was born to Daniel Allen Chaney and Nadien Francies on July 17, 1969 in Bell, Texas.

Donna worked as a cashier and clerk. She was a stubborn, faithful, and strong willed lady who loved her family. Donna was a go-getter who loved to cook. She would call herself a "corn- fed cook".  Holidays were her favorite time; she would make gift baskets for the ones she loved. Donna was the matriarch of her family; they call her the "glue" that kept everyone informed and bonded. She was the person to connect with when you needed to hear the "right words". Donna will be missed by all who loved her but her legacy will continue.

Left to honor her memory is her loving husband of 18 years, Randy George of Kountze, TX; Sons, Kenneth Strohl and fiancé, Elizabeth Garret of Kountze, TX, Dakota George of Kountze, TX; Daughters, Donya Warrick and husband, Daniel of  Lumberton, TX, and Cheyenne George of Kountze, TX; Grandchildren, Ember Lee and Raven Rose.

Preceding in death are her parents, Daniel Allen Chaney and Nadien Francies.

Visitation with family and friends will be 5:00 -7:00 pm, Tuesday July 18 2017 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 Main St, Lumberton, TX. Donna's life honoring service will be 1:00 pm., Wednesday July 19, 2017, at Grace Church 1103 Hwy 69 S Lumberton TX , officiated by Pastor Ray McNames.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made for Donna's Funeral Service.
