Denise Jan Marshall, age 60, passed away on March 23, 2019. Denise was born on July 3, 1958 in Lubbock, TX to Walter Henry Marshall Jr. and Lorna LaVonne.

Loyal beyond measure and radiating with love, Denise was a priceless jewel in the eyes of her family and a wonderful friend to so many. Whether she was spoiling her dogs, watching movies with her nieces and nephews, or just being an incredible mother, Denise was constantly proving the depth of her love to her family. She was never too busy to listen, she was a faithful friend and was loyal until the end. Her sister, Debra, didn’t like to go shopping in Australia without Denise, everything was more enjoyable when she was there. Her best friend in the world was her son, Eric, she made every moment special, despite the hardships of being a single parent. In the words of her nephew, Kenny, “throughout her final battle, she was my hero, she fought with tenacity, humor, grace, and courage.” She was always joyful, no matter the circumstance and had a keen ability to make others smile, especially if they were sad. Though she had struggles of her own, nothing could deter her from being present and a blessing to those around her. Her memory lives on through each life she impacted and the smiles that she made.

Left to honor her memory is her son Eric Marshall of Thorton, CO; brother, Walter Dennis Marshall of Englewood, CO; sister, Debra Dinsdale and husband, Brian of Wishart, Queensland; grandchildren, Trevor Marshall, Cloie Marshall; great-nieces and nephews, Walter Warriner, Aiden Perkins, Noah Perkins, Connor Perkins, Ashton Perkins, Amelia Perkins, Ariana Perkins; niece, Katie Warriner and husband, Robert of Silsbee, TX; nephew, Kenneth Perkins and wife, Anja of Merkendorf, Germany, Caleb Perkins and wife, Kristina of Casper, WY; step-niece and nephews; Abram Dinsdale/Kelin Aspden of Australia; step-great nephew, Michael Aspden of Australia.

She will be welcomed into heaven by her parents, Walter Marshall Jr and Lorna.
