Debbie Ann (Kilcrease) Nance

Debbie Ann Nance, 64, of Silsbee, TX passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 2, 2018. Debbie was born on Friday, March 5, 1954 to her loving parents Jack and Betty Kilcrease in Pineland, TX. Debbie was blessed to have had a beautiful marriage of 42 years to her beloved husband, Larry Eugene Nance Sr. before went to wait for her in heaven. Debbie has always been the rock of her family and the proverbial glue that held them together; whether it was her “open door policy” that basically guaranteed a safe place to be and a warm hug for anyone she called family, or her motherly advice doled out lovingly from the perch of wisdom sitting on the end of her bed- Debbie was always available and ready to help. Debbie was not a complainer and would gladly swallow her own pains and needs to do anything for everyone else. When not fixing all the issues of the world for those she cared about, Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family playing games and having Sunday dinners. She enjoyed some of the simple pleasures in life such as reading a good book or tackling a new crossword puzzle. Debbie will fondly be remembered as the best sideline distraction around- with her tendency to run up and down the sideline no matter what the event she was always front and center at all of her family’s various games and events. Whether the tie was through blood or sheer choice, Debbie was the best mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and of course spouse that a person could ever hope to have the privilege to know.

Greeting Debbie Ann Nance in heaven is her loving husband of 42 years, Larry Eugene Nance Sr; her loving parents Jack and Betty Kilcrease; her son-in-law Gary Mathis Jr.; and her brother-in-law Eddy McDougal. Left to honor the legacy of love Debbie was are her children, Michelle LeAnne Mathis, Larry Eugene Nance Jr. and fiancée Melissa Lea Bryan, and Randy Wayne Nance and fiancée Melissa Suzanne Russ; her “sons by choice”, Jake Randall Arredondo and wife Lucy, and Martin Lackings Jr.; her siblings, Dennis Ray Kilcrease and wife Susan, Darrell Kilcrease and wife Becky, and Dawana McDougal; her grandchildren, Veronica Michelle Williams, Leonard “Len” Williams Jr., Kayla Marie Nance, Matthew Ryan Nance, Brittani Michelle Nance, and Bradley David Nance; her great-grandchildren, Natalie Hope McClelland, and Ryan Lee Williams; as well a community of friends and church members forever impacted by her love.

The family will receive friends and family for a time of visitation from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton, TX. A life honoring service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton, TX. Debbie Ann Nance will be laid to rest at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee, TX at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018.
