Christopher Michael "Chris" Stacks, 44, of Port Neches, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday April 13, 2017. He was born January 29, 1973 in Anniston, Alabama. Chris was a funny and easy going man, always laughing and cracking jokes. He was a loving, dedicated husband and father who always put his family first. He was an amazing and devoted husband and father. Chris was very proud of his family, and always bragging on his kids and wife. He also loved his church family at Nederland Apostolic Church where he was an active and faithful member. He enjoyed being outdoors and playing disc golf and basketball. He was a second daddy, friend and mentor to all of his employees at Magic Wash and Lube where he served as the general manager. He would share the gospel and teach them about God and they loved him.  Chris was a very hard working man and completely devoted to his family, his church, and God. We will miss him so much, but we will meet him again.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Sandra Stacks; and sister, Sondra Stacks.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 19 years, Bonny Stacks of Port Neches; children, Christopher Stacks, Jr., Brianna Stacks, Isabella Stacks, and Grace Stacks; 2 brothers, Marcus Stacks and wife, Debbie of Jacksonville, FL, and Robert Stacks and wife, Amy of Jacksonville, FL; 1 sister, Kim Scott and husband Brian of Fallon, NV, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

His family will receive friends at Nederland Apostolic Church Monday April 17, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday April 18, 2017 at Nederland Apostolic Church, officiated by Reverend James Corkran. Interment will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze.

Serving as pallbearers are Melvin Block, Jason Beck, Rocky Rashall, Blake Rashall, Nick Cardwell, Mark Burlison, Jason Choate, Derek Wolf, and Glen Wolf.
