Cheryl Lynn Allen

Cheryl Lynn Allen, age 68, passed away Tuesday September 19, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at College Street Nursing Home. She was born to E.J. Adams and Billie Earnie Munson on November 8, 1948 in Houston, Texas.

Throughout her years, Cheryl had several jobs. She was most proud of her independently owned House Cleaning business.  She loved her family and friends. Laughing with them was something that brought her tremendous joy.  Cheryl knew good cooking and going crabbing was one of her pleasures.  Even though she was allergic, she enjoyed sea food. Cheryl also loved her sweets. Ice cream and vanilla wafers were a favorite snack before bedtime.  "Me-Maw", loved her grand and great grandchildren. They loved spending time with her and will always remember how she joked with them and brought laughter to their lives. Cheryl was a strong woman that took care of herself and never wanted to burden anyone. She was a faithful servant who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy will continue with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Left to honor Cheryl's memory is her son, Rodney T. Allen of Beaumont, TX; daughter, Tina L. Allen and Tim Turner of Dayton, TX; daughter, Billie L. Judice and husband, Charles R. Judice Jr. of China, TX; grandchildren, Michelle Turner, Michael Meece, Leland Meece, Stormie Folwell, Shelby Roland, Charlie Judice, and Bryce Judice; 10 great grandchildren; lifelong friend, Leland Allen and best friend of 46 years, Nancy Fear; also survived by other loving relatives and friends. 

Preceding Cheryl in death are her parents, E.J. Adams and Billie Earnie Munson; Her Mom, Hazel Munson; daughter, Teresa E. Meece.

Memorial and celebration of life will be held on Saturday September 30, 2017, 6 PM  at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 S. Main St. Lumberton, TX, 77657 officiated by Pastor Kyle Warren.
