Carol John Carpenter

Carol John Carpenter, age 75, passed away on June 15, 2019. He was born on August 28, 1943 in Orange, TX to Jules Carpenter and Sadie Louis.

John was a lifetime resident of South East Texas, he worked as a sand blaster and painter during the industrial boom in Orange, TX. He owned a paint and body shop for many years and always provided for his family through his hard work. He was one of 16 children, they were raised hard and tough which made John the “good ol southern boy” his family and friends knew and loved. He enjoyed shooting pool, shrimping, and gardening and raised the toughest roosters this side of the Mississippi River. He will be dearly missed by his friends, and family.

Left to honor his memory is his son, John Carpenter; daughters, Leslie Rider and husband, David, Danya Ihle; brother, Penny Carpenter; sisters, Joy and Violet; grandchildren, Kylin Carpenter, Chelsey Dugan, Aiyana Blande, John Cade Carpenter, Slade Dugas, Tiger John Carpenter, Thunder Carpenter.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers, and 6 sisters.
