Betty Lou Strickland Smith, age 76, passed away on May 24, 2019. She was born in Wichita Falls, TX on November 2, 1942 to Chester Strickland and Addlee Pruitt Strickland.

Left to honor her memory is her loving son, Tim Smith and wife, Brandy, of Corinth, TX; brother, Mickey Strickland and wife, Linda, of Bellevue, TX; sister, Helen McIntyre and husband, Wes, of Parkersburg, WV; grandchildren, Gena Kay Hare and husband, Briceson, of Lumberton, TX, Ashley Brock and husband, Billy, of Burkburnett, TX, Jesse Paul Smith of Lumberton, TX, April Smith of Burkburnette, TX, Brittany Nicole Pickens and husband, Clayton, of Honey Island, TX, and Anna Michelle Dawson and husband, Connor, of Omaha, NE; great-grandchildren, Noah, Colt, Aelynn, Camdyn, Taylor, Kennedy, Paisley, Tynzleigh, Gentry, Sophia and Haddie; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Tommy Eudell Smith; beloved sons, Toby Smith and Rex Strickland; and her parents.

Betty Lou’s life honoring graveside service will be on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.., at Rosemont Cemetery, 4441 Southwest Parkway, Wichita Falls, Texas, with Eric Stephens officiating and burial to immediately follow.
