Bernard Paul Zahm, age 54, of Silsbee, TX, passed beyond the veil on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Village Creek Nursing and Rehab in Lumberton, TX. He was born to Bernard John Zahm and Carol Anne Warless on January 20, 1964, in Fort Knox, KY.
A beloved and steadfast Christian believer, a faithful and treasured friend. All who knew Paul, knew him to be a unique man. He was sincere in his belief and worship. Paul was expressive, giving emphatic responses to the things he believed. His meticulous nature was expressed in his work, collections, conversations and prayers, Paul wanted everything he did to be his best. Paul always desired a family of his own, to have a wife and children. One of his greatest treasures, as he would often remark, was to be counted among his church family. He was thorough in his conversation, often expressing many details about things he was passionate about. His strong faith in Jesus Christ gave him the grace to get through his last days on this earth. Towards the end, Paul may have forgotten his name at times, but Paul never forgot his church and his faith. He passed into his inheritance with the love and affection of his brothers and sisters in Christ, opening his eyes on the other side to be greeted by his Heavenly family. His family will miss him, until the day appointed that we see him again.
Left to honor his memory is his natural family and his church family, spread throughout the world.
