Barbara Frasher

Barbara L. Frasher, age 86, of Beaumont, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 23, 2017.She was born to Lucille McCall and A. R. Cotten on June 30, 1931 in Cisco, Texas.  Barbara was a kind and loving mother, grandmother (Nana) and great-grandmother. She was a faithful servant who loved children and animals.  Barbara enjoyed serving as a foster grandparent for 8 years and was awarded Foster Grandparent of the Year in 2008.  She was extremely proud of this work and accomplishment.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Lucille McCall and A. R. Cotten.

Barbara is survived by her son and daughter in law, Tim and Anna Frasher of Beaumont; three grandchildren: Rebecca and Ben Lopez of Houston, Alesia and Brandon Ricks of Lumberton, Peter Borling of Beaumont and great-grandchildren: Taylor Ricks, Preston Ricks and Xander Borling.

A private memorial will be held with family and close friends on Sunday, October 8th from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Women and Children’s Shelter (westrengthenfamilies.org) in memory of Barbara Frasher.
