Ruby Marie Richard

Ruby Marie Richard, 79, passed away on September 25, 2026. She was born on May 26, 1947, at St. Theresa Hospital in Beaumont, Texas, to Clarence Joseph Richard and Verda Naquin Richard.

Ruby spent many years working in the food industry and later worked as a courier for Syncor before retiring. In retirement, she enjoyed arts and crafts and calling bingo at the nursing home, where she formed many friendships. She also enjoyed attending Bible study and spending time with the friends who became part of her daily life.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister, Donnett Wallace and husband, Rusty; her sons, Johnny Davis and wife, Nicole, and Lonnie and wife, Julia; her grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley, and Taylor; and her great-grandchildren, Noah, Aubree, and Parker. She also leaves behind many friends at Jefferson Nursing and Rehab.

The family extends a special thank-you to the staff of Jefferson Nursing and Rehab and to Nicole with Heart to Heart Hospice for their care and compassion.

Ruby's celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at 3755 Kings Row Beaumont, TX 77706.
