Rosie Lee (Davis) Jiminez

Mrs. Rosie Lee Davis Jiminez, 81, of Beaumont, passed away on September 13, 2021, and was born May 17, 1940 in Orangefield.

Kind and genuine, Rosie was a faithful woman of God who could truly be depended on for anything for her family. Rosie loved to be at home in her later years but was an avid antiquer loving to scour flea markets for new treasures and selling curios at the local markets herself when she was younger. Known by many names such as Nanny and Sister, it didn’t matter what name you knew here by, but to know her was to love her and to be loved by her.

Rosie is survived by her children, Earl Clifton Gibson, Linda Stuart, Alan Dale Gibson, and Ronald Lee Gibson; her grandchild, Doug Fincher and wife Rachel; and her great grandsons, Landon and Reid.

Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, J.R and Elmie Davis; and her beloved husband, Alva Gene Jiminez.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 S Main St. Lumberton, Tx 77657. Rosie's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Lumberton Family Funeral Home with interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze.
