Don Julian, age 75, of Orange, TX, passed away on September 6, 2020.
He was born on September 6, 1945, to William Julian and Margaret McNeel Julian. The embodiment of a caring man, Don always put others before himself. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and strangers in time of need. Whether he knew exactly what to do, or had no idea where to start, Don was always eager to assist every way possible. Truly a hardworking man, he spent over 45 years as a member of the Masonic Lodge while also providing for his family. Although Don was devoted to his work, he always made time to enjoy his hobbies and spend time with family. He had a genuine passion for life, and every day was a new adventure. He could often be found hunting down hidden treasures overlooked by others in flea markets and yard sales, or enjoying time at the lake and fishing. Don had many interests and hobbies, but one that stuck with him his whole life was his love for sports. His fondness of playing football and basketball in his youth led him to referee high school games. His children and grandchildren brought the greatest joy to his life, and he cherished them with the deepest love possible. Don was a true friend, a wonderful father and grandfather, he impacted many lives in the best of ways and his memory will not soon be forgotten by those who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Jeff Julian and wife Kim of Sour Lake; Daughter, Brandy Bailey and husband Kenny of Village Mills; Grandchildren, Tiffanee Simar, and Mason Julian.
Donald is preceded in death by his father William Julian and his mother Margaret McNeel Julian; and his five siblings.
