Dalton Earl Tousha

Dalton Earl Tousha, 78, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in Beaumont. He was born in Honey Island on February 14, 1943 to J.B. Tousha and Ada Gore.

When remembering the life of Dalton Tousha, the first thought that comes to mind is that he was an exceptional man. He was kind, generous, and he loved everybody around him. His family was more than just those he was related to, he considered everyone close to him his family. When Dalton met the love of his life, Charlotte, her children became his own and he cherished them deeply. He was incredibly selfless and always put others before himself. When Charlotte was away for 6 months, Dalton went every day to see her because he could not stand for them to be apart. He was an extremely hard worker and tirelessly provided for his wife and children, but he would always find time to sit down and enjoy a western at the end of the day. Dalton lived a great life and impacted many people, he will not be soon forgotten and his memory will be cherished by those who loved him.

Left to cherish his memory is his dear wife, Charlotte Tousha; his children, Kimberly Murphy and husband Lee, Rex Tousha and wife Sue, Rachel Reed and husband Stormie, and Bill Mosley; his brother, Jack Tousha and wife Margie; his grandchildren, Brittany, Corey, Kendall, Bryce, and Ethan; his 2 great-grandchildren; his beloved fur babies, Luca and Kitty-Kitty; as well as numerous friends and extended family.

Dalton was preceded in death by his father, J.B. Tousha; his mother, Ada Mae Fore; his step-father, Cisro Gore; and his daughter, Sandra Tousha.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 5:00-7:00PM at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 S Main St Lumberton, TX 77657. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 10:00AM at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 S Main St Lumberton, TX 77657 with the graveside to follow at 2:00PM at Votaw Cemetery, Votaw Cemetery Rd Votaw, TX 77376.
