William Louis "Dub" Geiser

William Louis “Dub” Geiser, 70, of Lumberton, TX, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, August 4, 2018 in Beaumont, TX. Dub was born Saturday, May 22, 1948 in Dallas, TX to his late parents, Perry Ethridge and Sylvia Lee Geiser. Dub spent much of his early life in the Dallas area where he attended UT Arlington, earning a BA in Aeronautic Engineering. Dub met his wife of 28 years, Penny, on a blind date while on a jobsite in Illinois. After marrying Penny, Dub moved to Lumberton over 26 years ago. Dub was a construction manager and a true “workaholic.” His job took Dub to many wonderful and even exotic locations over the course of his life, allowing him the opportunity to experience many cultures and memorable journeys to distant job sites. Those who knew Dub best have described him as adventurous, having his own mind set and his own pace in life- which was fast! Dub enjoyed hiking and spending time with his fur-babies when he wasn’t enjoying his work. As a matter of fact, you could tell what a loving person Dub was by the way that he cared for animals- never turning away a stray. Dub will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

William Louis “Dub” Geiser is proceeded in death by his loving parents Perry and Sylvia Geiser; his older brother Sidney Carl Geiser and his twin brother Roy Francis “Doc” Geiser.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 28 years, Penny Geiser of Lumberton, TX; his siblings Sylvia Lee Dempsey of Ohio, Perry Lynn Geiser and wife Gayla of Midlothian, TX; nieces and nephews Jennifer White and husband Thomas of Ohio, Dawn Geiser-Cseh of Arizona, Roy Geiser and wife Nancy of Africa, Chris Geiser and wife Jenny of New York; as well as numerous treasured family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton, TX on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.  A life honoring funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton, TX at 2:00pm on Wednesday August 8, 2018. Interment will immediately follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze, TX.
