Cynthia Harper Obituary

Cynthia Vanessa Harper, age 64, passed away April 14, 2019, in Beaumont, Texas.Cynthia was born in Albany, Georgia on January 31, 1955 and spent her childhood growing up on a farm, with her grandparents, RC and Juanita Jones. She married Larry Joe Harper at a young age and they had three children together. Sonya, the firstborn was her pride and joy. She and Larry had two other children, who died shortly after childbirth. Their life took them to Texas where they raised their daughter Sonya.

Cynthia is preceded in death by Laura Hazel Jones (her mother), Juanita and R.C. Jones
(her grandparents), Laura Harper & Larry Joe Harper Jr. (her children), and David K. Bayreuther
(her brother).

Jesse Yarbro, her bonus father.
Sonya & Bruce Patterson, her daughter and son in law.
Belinda & Robert Breaux, her sister and brother in law.
JT & Dianne Carnell, her brother and sister in law.
Grandchildren: Nicole & Cole Lawson, Bruce Alan Jr. (BJ) and Krysten Patterson
Nieces & Nephews: Summer Breaux and Autumn & Jeremey Minton, Jimmy Dupree,
Lacey & Bryan Agan, Justin Bayreuther, Nathan Bayreuther, Jamie & Ty Esser, Seth &
McKenna Carnell, Kimberly & Cody Thomas.
Her first-born great grandson: Waylon Cole Lawson,

Cindy had a huge heart and love to give to others, especially through her talent of
crocheting, sewing, and cooking. She loved Christmas time and always preferred to give rather
than to receive. Her most joyful moments were spending time with her family. Cindy just
recently became a great grandmother, to Waylon, and loved to tell everyone about him. She
loved making others giggle, telling stories of the past, and recalling memories that were
meaningful and full of fun.
Cindy accepted Christ, as her Savior, many years ago and recently rededicated her life to
The Lord, while on hospice. Once her eyesight diminished, Jerry would read the bible to her
nightly, it gave her comfort to sleep. We believe Cindy is happy to be at peace and home with
Jesus. We can only imagine that she is having the best Jones reunion ever!

The family would like to thank Jerry for the many years he has unselfishly cared for and
loved her unconditionally. Thanks and appreciation to Heart of Texas Hospice.
