Vicky Sue Solly

Vicky Sue Solly, age 64, of Lumberton, TX, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. She was born on December 02, 1959, in Houston, TX, to Roland Barron and Connie Copeland.

Mean and strong, Vicky was a lively bartender who had a heart of gold and was known as the life of the party. She never had a lot but was always happy and was most often found laughing or making others laugh. She was Craig’s best friend, loved her kids, and loved her brother “Bud”. Those who knew her knew she had a softer side to; she could cook and decorate like Martha Stewart, and was best known for her gumbo and her chicken tetrazzini. Vicky will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Craig Alan Solly; son, Keith Solly and wife Brittany; daughters, Alana Nance and husband Chris, Sarina Arroyo, Christie Farnham and husband TJ, and Sheree Rose; father, Joe Wood; brother, Wesley Barron and wife Teresa; sister, Donna Usher and husband Darryl; grandchildren, Cassidy, Skyler, Cody, Brooke, Brandon, William, Averie, and Emily; and great-grandchild, Baby Stites.

Vicky is preceded in death by her parents.
