Suzanne Danielle Buchanan

Suzanne Danielle Buchanan, age 45, of Lumberton, TX, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at her home. She was born on April 28, 1978, in Beaumont, TX, to her parents, Tommy Pady Sr. and Janet Flanigan Pady.

Suzanne was a fighter. She fought cancer head-on, doing her own research to prolong her life as long as she could. She never backed down and never complained about the hand she was dealt.

She loved vacationing with her family and friends. Her favorite destination was anywhere that had a beach so she could watch the waves roll in. If she had a free weekend, she would spend it at any flea market she could find.

Her husband, Chris, made sure their backyard was her personal oasis. If she was home, you could find her drinking coffee on one of her many porch swings with her dogs nearby or playing pool while listening to music with their many friends in the backyard.

She made sure her boys knew they could do anything they put their minds to. With Cainan, it was stocks and trading. They could talk for hours about different investment opportunities. With Dominic, it was basketball. She would make sure he got to every practice and every tournament, never missing a game. She would get outside and practice with him as often as she could. She loved her boys more than anything.

Suzanne had so many people in her life that she loved dearly and she will be missed by all. 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Christopher Buchanan; sons, Cainan Buchanan and Dominic Buchanan; father, Tommy Pady Sr.; brother, Tom Pady Jr.; sister-in-law, Stacy Broussard and husband Michael; brother-in-law, Charles Berwick and wife April; nieces, Andrea, Charlize, and Alix; nephews, Emilio and Ethan; mother-in-law, Windy Armas; as well as multiple great nieces, friends, and loved ones.

Preceding Suzanne in death are her mother, Janet Pady; and nephew, Kristian Montante
