Tina Renee Eaves

Tina Renee Palmer Eaves, 60, of Port Arthur, passed away Friday June 9, 2017. Tina had a kind sweet spirit and she always had a smile even in difficult times. Although she was quiet, Tina liked to laugh and listen to stories. She had a green thumb and enjoyed growing all kinds of plants. She was a great Cajun cook, especially her etoufee. She loved the beach where she would go crabbing and fishing. Tina was always helping people even when she didn’t have anything for herself. She was always contributing to many good ministries. Our lives will never be the same without you, but we will be okay. We will be strong because we have seen you be strong.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Louise Palmer; and sister, Anita Louise Palmer.

She is survived by her daughters, Heather Morris of Spring, and Cheriee Eaves of Athens; sisters, Karen Farrar and husband, George of Beaumont, Pam Adkins and husband Allan of Brookeland, Donna Moses and husband, Alex of Orange, and Nan Smith and husband, Henry of Beaumont; grandchildren, Addalene Atnip, Payton Atnip, Allis Watson, Tracie Watson, Colt Landin, Dereck Morris, Vaughn Morris, and Stevie Vargas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday June 11, 2017 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, officiated by Henry Smith.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Nurse Tasha Broom, CNA Dianne Tyler, Chaplain David Abshire, MSW Nicole Bynog, and to the good people at Silsbee Convalescent Center for the love and special care they provided.
