Thomas Arby Butler III

Thomas Arby Butler III, age 40, passed away Sunday July 16, 2017. He was born to Thomas Arby Butler Jr.  and Donna Darlene Colson on December 25, 1976.

Tommy was a mobile home mover for Larry's Mobile Homes. He loved his job hauling houses.  Tommy was a fun guy to be around. He never met a "request" he wouldn't try. He was a "hold my beer and watch this", kind of guy.  He was a hard core biker, as well as, a good hearted man, loving husband, and devoted father to his children. His dog, Sweet Pea, was another love of his life.  Tommy was known to "Tommy-nize" everything he did to make it his way.  "I'm the man" is a quote one would hear him say often.

Tommy was married to his beloved wife, Tracie, for 12 years.  Tommy's mama takes credit for this relationship. She and Tracie were friends through work. She would show Tracie pictures of her handsome son and discuss a possible date.   After withstanding three hurricanes, together, Tommy and Tracie decided to marry 2 days before his birthday in December. The rest is a beautiful history. Tommy will be greatly missed by all who loved him but his legacy will continue.

Left to honor his memory is his wife of 12 years, Tracie Butler of Orange, TX; step son, Troyal Miller of Beaumont, TX; daughters, Justice, Cheyenne, and Liberty of Orange Co.; brothers, Scooter Shelburne and wife, Jeri, of China, TX, Jeff "Tex" Chaison IV and wife Sherry of Spurger, TX;step brother, Shain Myers of Orange, TX; sisters, Dewanna Eagleton of Beaumont, TX, Chasity Webster and husband, Jeff, of Vidor, TX; step sister, Veronica Alford of Beaumont, TX; cousin, Christopher "CJ" Sanders of Vidor, TX; also survived by many loving family and friends.

Preceding in death are his parents, Thomas Arby Butler Jr. and Donna Darlene Colson.

Visitation with family and friends will be 4:00-6:00 pm, Friday July 21, 2017 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home 766 South Main St. Lumberton, TX 77657.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations to Tommy's funeral service be made.
