Stephen Moreno

Stephen Moreno, 73, of Houston, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016. He was a tough man and hard to get to know, but he did enjoy his life and he made his own rules. He was helpful to his family. He was good to his mother and took care of her at the end of her life. He loved raising numerous dogs. He seemed to straighten out at the end and even attended a local church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Lucille Moreno; sister, Dolores Perez; nephew, Samuel Perez.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Gloria Weathington and husband, Glenn of Beaumont, Frank Perez and DJ of Sour Lake, Paul Perez and wife, Tammy of Dallas, Roy Perez of Houston, Angela Songe of Vidor, Julie Smith of Canton, Georgia, Adam Perez of Beaumont, and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday August 22, 2016 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont.
