Sandra Lee Eppes

Sandra Eppes, 70, of Lumberton, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016. She was born November 7, 1945 in Jasper, Alabama. She enjoyed arts and crafts and ceramics. She enjoyed the beach and fishing. Her favorite place was Gulf Shores, Alabama. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lavina Amerson, sister, Jeanette Turner and brother, L. J. Amerson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Ben Eppes of Lumberton; children, Denesse Eppes Iocco and husband, Todd of Pearland, Scott Eppes and wife, Kathleen of Lumberton and Christopher Eppes of Buna; grandchildren, April Lee Iocco Maly and husband, Brian of Pearland, Bryant Todd Iocco of Pearland, Brailey Marie Eppes of Lumberton, Benjamin Eppes of Lumberton, Paeg Rena Eppes of Beaumont and Luther Elik Eppes of Beaumont.

A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. John's Episcopal Church of Silsbee, officiated by Rev. John Johnson.
