Ruthanne Helen Rogers

Ruthanne Helen Rogers, 79, of Silsbee, passed away Friday May 19, 2017. She was born in Dunkirk, New York on May 23, 1937. She was a great grandma, she was very kind. She loved plants. She would always light up when her family came to visit. She loved having her nails done and to go shopping. She enjoyed getting gifts and chocolate. She enjoyed doing crafts with her grandchildren. She loved to read magazines and books. She enjoyed coloring with her grandchildren. She was a very inspiring woman. She liked to work crosswords. She loved picking up seashells at the beach. She will be missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edmond A. and Helen Mezzio; brother, Edmond D. Mezzio; and grandson, Steven McShan.

She is survived by her husband, R. L. Rogers of Harlowton, MT; children, Martin Rogers, and Jen of Davies, FL, Darci McShan and husband David of Lumberton, and Bryan Rogers and wife, Amy of Searsport, ME; grandchildren, Amber, Weston, Anderson, Angela, and Evan; and great-granddaughter, McKenzie McShan.

The family is planning a memorial at a later date.
