Rudolph Karl Kuritz, Jr.December 31, 1941 ~ February 13, 2017 (age 75)
Rudolph Karl Kuritz, Jr., 75, of Beaumont, passed away Monday February 13, 2017. He was born in Beaumont December 31, 1941 to his parents Rudy and Nita Kuritz. He led a very interesting life and traveled all over the world through his job as a facility engineer in the heating and air industry. He was a hard worker. He did not believe in half measures, he threw himself 100 % into everything he did. He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a good man, even though he could be strict at times, he had plenty of patience and always went out of his way to take care of his family. He was a good man and he will be greatly missed by his family.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Kuritz; parents; and sister, Karolyn Courts.
He is survived by his loving children, Karla Erwin of Vidor, Lisa Felps, and husband Jimmy of Spurger, Rusty Crawford and wife, Donna of Spurger, and Krystal Slott and husband, Robbie of Nederland; grandchildren, Joni Williams, Ashley Felps, Travis Crawford, Nina Brooks, Heather Starkey, Roman Starkey, Chance Montgomery, Kassie Zak, Lacy Montgomery, Dustin Montgomery, Cain Slott, Cody Slott, Natasha Erwin, and Josh Erwin; sisters, Koreen Kuritz, and Kathy Kuritz.
The family will receive friends at Lumberton Family Funeral Home on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 18, 2017 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, officiated by Rusty Crawford. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Silsbee.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rusty Crawford, Jimmy Felps, Travis Crawford, Brandon “Pedro” Garner, Robbie Slott, and Chance Montgomery.
