Ronald Gregg "Ronnie" Flores, Sr.

Ronald Gregg “Ronnie” Flores, Sr., 56 of Lumberton, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at his home. He was born March 12, 1961 in Beaumont, TX. He started working early when he was just 14 doing a man’s job. He was strong-willed in every aspect. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially going to the beach and fishing. He was a jokester and always happy. He enjoyed watching the news and drinking his coffee. He was also a sports fan, he was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Rockets. He also liked watching NASCAR, following the careers of Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Ronnie was a loving daddy to his kids, when it came to his family, he set his goals and never quit. He was very protective of his children and grandchildren and they were his world.

He is preceded in death by his father, Librado Lee Flores.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Flores of Lumberton; mother, Barbara Parham and husband, Bobby of Lumberton; children, Danielle Marie Flores, Courtney Ann Flores, Ronald Gregg Flores, Jr., Audrey Eve Flores, and Beverly Louise Harris; grandchildren, Noah Taylor Lindsey, Christopher Layne Shelton, Riddick Lee Welch, Aeris Andraya Soffes, Ambry Alexis Soffes, and Adely Ann Jones; siblings, Richard Flores, and Tina Flores-Harthcockand husband Bryan; nephews, Dylan Harthcock, Lucas Harthcock; nieces, Arikka Flores, and Christina Flores; and many friends.

The family will receive friends at Lumberton Family Funeral Home on Friday March 24, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday March 25, 2017 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Kyle Warren.
