Michael Jeremiah Smith, was born 5 weeks premature on April 6, 2016 in Beaumont, Texas. We were so very blessed to have him for 3 months and 10 days before gaining his angel wings on July 16, 2016 at 12:55 a.m. After a sudden illness, he leaves behind a wonderfully loving mother, Maggie Pender and the epitome of a father, Hunter Smith, both of Silsbee; grandparents, Mike and Wanda Pender of Silsbee, Christine Wright-Smith and husband, Chris of Silsbee, Jeff and Natasha Smith of Silsbee; great-grandparents, Mary Pender of Silsbee, Christine Smith of Kountze, Nancy Borel of Silsbee, Donald and Dorothy Peavy of Lumberton; god-father, Troy Miller of Silsbee. Michael was also loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Saturday July 23, 2016 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home.
