Marlen Gail Lanthier

Marlen Gail Lanthier, 71, of Vidor, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015. She enjoyed taking care of and spending her time with her family.  She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George Lanthier and Madeline Farley; brothers, Ray Lanthier and Demes Lanthier; sister, Gloria Patterson and granddaughter, Christina Adams.

She is survived by her children, Trudy Garrison of Mauriceville, Cindy Rutledge and husband Richard of Vidor and son, Thomas Hanlon, Jr. of Vidor; brother, Brad Lanthier and wife Donna of Bridge City; sister, Kim Clark of San Angelo; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends at Lumberton Family Funeral Home Tuesday March 31, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday April 1, 2015 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Ray McNames. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.

Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Hanlon III, Dwayne Anderson, Jr., Derrick Rutledge, Richard Rutledge, Cindy Rutledge and Trudy Garrison.
