Marilyn Ann Hebert

Marilyn Ann Hebert, age 85, passed away on Thursday August 10, 2017 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston after a sudden illness. She was born on October 4, 1931 in Lafayette, LA to Francis  Joseph Duhon and Edia Landry Duhon.

Marilyn was a retired bookkeeper for several construction companies. She was a member of the Altar Society at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Groves, TX and a member of a long time card group. Quilting and crafting were her enjoyable hobbies. Outings to the casinos with her friends were a regular event that Marilyn looked forward to. Marilyn will be truly missed by all who loved her but her legacy will continue with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Left to honor her memory is her loving husband of 65 years, Clinton "Skeeter" Anthony Hebert of Groves, TX; sons, Wade Anthony Hebert and wife, Theresa, of Groves, TX, and Troy Francis Hebert and wife, Debbie, of Nederland, TX; daughter, Tammy M. Sims of Groves, TX; brother, Roland Duhon of Beaumont, TX; grandchildren, Shawn Francis Hebert, David Weston Sims, Kala Michelle Gohlke, Ryan Newman, and Rachel Newman; great grandchildren, Klate Gohlke, Evan Hebert, Jude Gohlke, and Laikyn Hebert; also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Preceding Marilyn in death are her parents, Francis Joseph Duhon and Edia Landry Duhon.

Visitation with family and friends will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday August 17, 2017 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 2019 Taft Ave. Groves, TX 77619 followed by Marilyn's life honoring memorial mass at 2:00 pm celebrated by Father JC Coon.
