Lucille DeVilleMay 4, 1951 ~ April 10, 2017 (age 65)
Lucille DeVille, 65, of Lumberton, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017. She was born May 4, 1951 in Alexandria, LA. She was a hard worker and operated her own business, Lucy’s Personal Touch Beauty Salon in Poplarville, MS for a time, then she went to work as a production worker for Helena Labs where she retired. She enjoyed crocheting, and although she was not a big gambler, she enjoyed going to the casinos. She was a selfless person who was always worried about everybody else instead of herself. She loved her family with all of her heart and loved family gatherings. She also dedicated herself to serving as her mother’s caregiver. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Janie DeVille.
She is survived by her children, Shelley Pelt and husband Clinton of Beaumont, and Shannon Davis and wife, Brandy of Poplarville, MS; sisters Bertha Condon of Brookeland, and Nancy Miller and husband, Tommy of Woodville; grandchildren, Kyle Davis, Kory Davis, Kade Davis, and Kole Davis, Donella Pelt, Destiny Pelt; and several nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive friends at Lumberton Family Funeral Home on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. officiated by John Bowman. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park of Vidor.
Serving as pallbearers are Will Miller, Kyle Davis, Kory Davis, Kade Davis, Kole Davis, and Colbey Carlson. Honorary pallbearers are Matthew Miller, Tommy Miller, Shannon Davis, and Clint Pelt.
