Kenneth Rayburn Elliott

Kenneth Rayburn Elliott, 73, of Vidor, passed away Saturday May 27, 2017. He was born October 20, 1943 in Pontotoc, Mississippi. He met and married the love of his life, Mary September 27, 1963. He was a member of Eastgate United Pentecostal Church.  He was a sales rep in the auto industry and his last employment was at Cowboys in Lumberton. He could sell anything to anyone, it was his passion. He enjoyed collecting model cars. When he found the time, he enjoyed getting on the road with his family and traveling. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Beatrice Elliott, brothers, Terry Elliott, and Bobby Elliott; son, Kevin Elliott; and son-in-law, Gary Janise.

He is survived by his wife of 53years, Mary Elliott of Vidor; children, Troy Elliott and wife, Katie of Vidor, and Tina Janise of Vidor; grandchildren, Alishia Istre of Vidor, Megan Dimas and husband, Daniel of Orange, Mollea Davis and husband, Nick of Vidor, and Trevor Elliott and wife, Sabrina of Huntsville; great-grandchildren, Mia-Lee Dimas, Kheaper Istre, Noah Davis, Elania Elliott, Adalynn Elliott, and Gracelynn Davis.

His family will receive friends Wednesday 9:00 a.m. May 31, 2017 at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church of Vidor. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Bishop Bobby Edwards. Interment will follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor.

Serving as pallbearers are Trevor Elliott, Nick Davis, Daniel Dimas, Jonathan Elliott, Tommy Elliott, and Jackie King.
