Katherine Seaman

Katherine (Kathy) Ann Vaughn Seaman, 66, of Kountze, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 

at her home in Kountze, TX. 

She was born on December 3, 1951, in Beaumont, TX. She attended Silsbee High School. 

She married her High school sweetheart, Larry Seaman, of Silsbee on May 31, 1969.

She attended Gateway Church in Kountze, TX, where She was a member of the Gateway Goldies.

Survivors include her Son, William Seaman and his wife, Leanna Seaman of Kountze, TX; 

Son, Jason Seaman and his wife, Shy Seaman of Kountze, TX; Her six granddaughters - 

Ayiana, Rachel, Rebekah, Alana, Mylee and Molly; Her mother, Nona Burnett Vaughn of 

Silsbee; Her father, Hollis Vaughn and his wife, Yvonne Vaughn of Marshall, TX; Her Sister, Lynne Marshall and her husband, Garry Marshall of Silsbee; Her sister, Nita Vaughn Simmons of Silsbee; 

Her brother, Terry Vaughn and his wife, Nanette Vaughn of Silsbee; along with many 

wonderful family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Seaman, and her grandson, William Isaac Seaman.

Mrs. Seaman asked to be cremated so there will be no viewing. 

A celebration of her life will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 23, 2017, at 

Gateway Church, 1600 HWY 69 S, Kountze, TX 77625, followed by refreshments in the church event center.
