James Rudolph "Rudy" Antilley
August 26, 1934 ~ April 28, 2017 (age 82) 82 Years OldJames Rudolph “Rudy” Antilley, 82, of Lumberton, passed away Friday April 28, 2017. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Loeb. He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a talented woodworker and he built beautiful furniture. He was a supervisor for Texaco and retired after 42 years of service. For the past 8 years, he was a volunteer of The Baptist Hospital of Beaumont. He was a passionate man and he dearly loved his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Antilley; parents James F. and Bertha Antilley; and sister, Bobbie Faye Hollinger.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 32 years, Judy Antilley of Lumberton; children, Debbie Mendisabal and husband, David Sr. of Lumberton, Jimmy Antilley and wife Debbie of Kountze, Mark Antilley and wife, Leslie of Beaumont; grandchildren, David Mendisabal Jr. and wife, Ginger of Baytown, Blair Mendisabal of Lumberton, Ashley Antilley of Kountze, and Dylan Antilley and wife, Monica of Belton, great-grandchildren, Michael Mendisabal, Jenna Mendisabal, Ace Ruiz, and James W. Antilley; and brother, Aubrey Antilley and wife Karen of Orlando, FL.
The family will receive friends at Lumberton Family Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2017. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday May 1, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Loeb, officiated by Reverend Bob Webb and Reverend West. Interment will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park of Port Neches, private grave site services will follow for family only, per Rudy’s request.
Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Vogel, Winston Woodard, David Mendisabal Jr., Clint West, Clay West, Dylan Antilley, Chad West, and Brett West. Honorary pallbearer is Perry Whitaker.
