JaDan Amae DeRouen

JaDan Amae DeRouen, 20, of Lumberton, passed away Wednesday July 5th, 2017.  She was a beautiful free spirit that captivated everyone she came in contact with.  She had a way of commanding the attention of all simply with her presence.  Her spirit was one of compassion, making everyone she came in contact with feel valued and worthy of her heart.  She had a deep rooted passion for the artistry of makeup.  She exhibited a skill for making anyone’s face that she touched; even her own.  She was a beautiful canvas  by which she would apply makeup like a Hollywood pro.  There wasn’t a stranger that JaDan didn’t impact with the sparkle of the smile; nor there was a song that could compare to the melody of the sound of her laughter. JaDan’s love of her friends and family and her natural zest for life will live on through the footprints she left behind.  A true gift to us all, she will be deeply missed.

JaDan is preceded in death by her father, Billy DeRouen.

JaDan is survived by her mother, Sheena Derouen, of Beaumont; a brother, Dason DeRouen of Lumberton; numerous aunts, uncles, other family members and friends.

Visitation with family and friends will be held in the Chapel at Lumberton Family Funeral Home on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, with a life honoring Memorial Service starting at 4:00pm.
