Gerald Wayne Miller, 78, of Lumberton, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Gerald was born on January 7, 1940 in Port Arthur, Texas to Monroe Floyd and Abbie Leona Miller. Gerald earned a master’s degree in psychology and he retired from Chevron where he worked in human resources.
Gerald was a “ring-tailed snorter who lived life on his on terms” according to family members; he was a charmer.
Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, Monroe Floyd, and Abbie Leona Miller.
Gerald is survived by his children, Natalie Solonenko, and husband, Sergei, Debbie Tucker, and husband, David, and Dana Culver; grandchildren, Gus Solonenko, Nolan, Chloe, and Madeline Tucker, Hayley Fort, and Jessica Culver; a brother, Wade Miller, and wife Sherry, and a sister, Lynne Putnam, and husband, Vic.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 1:pm at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Vowells Mill, Louisiana.
