George Duane Graffagnino, age 63, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday September 19, 2017. He was born on December 15, 1953. He was chosen and loved by James Graffagnino and Callie Lorene Sullivan in Beaumont, Texas.

Duane was a gifted artist who spent his career performing custom art work on automobiles.  He was a proud Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Beaumont Veteran's Center, Vietnam Veteran's Group # 33.  He continued his honorable service by helping his comrades build any item that was needed to make their lives more comfortable and self- sufficient. Duane was a kind-hearted giver; he never met a stranger and would help anyone with anything. He loved music and enjoyed sports. Football was what he liked best. The Dallas Cowboys were his favorite team and watching the West Orange Stark Mustangs during the high school football season was something he enjoyed. Rock and Roll and Blues concerts were an activity that he and his loving wife, Vikki, enjoyed. He was very creative when it came to finding good seats. Duane's relationship with his daughter Kayla was very special. They shared unconditional love. She blessed him with four grandchildren that he adored. Noah caught his first fish with Paw Paw, a treasured memory that will last a lifetime. Duane recently bought a truck for Noah and Paw Paw to rebuild and a bow to teach him how it's used. Kaylee loved Paw Paw's famous ribs. He made them for her anytime she asked. He supported Ally in her cheerleading and he was there for any of her award ceremonies at school. Paw Paw attended Kayden's T-Ball games and recently was so proud seeing his grandson graduate from kindergarten. Watching movies at home with all the grandkids was a precious past time of Duane's.  Duane loved animals, especially his cats. He loved animals so much that when he and Vikki got married, their dogs were the bride's maid and grooms men. Duane will be greatly missed, not only by his family, but by all whom have been honored to cross his path. His legacy will continue with his daughter and grandchildren.

Left to honor Duane's memory is his loving wife of 19 years, Vikki K. Miller of Vidor, TX;  beloved daughter, Kayla D. Graffagnino of Lumberton, TX; dear sister, Charlotte Morgan and husband, Randy, of Silsbee, TX; adored grandchildren, Kaylee Alexis Maddox, Noah James Maddox, Ally Elizabeth Graffagnino and Kayden Christian Graffagnino; also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Preceding Duane in death are his parents, James Graffagnino and Callie Lorene Sullivan.

Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday September 30, 2017 9:00 am at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, 766 South Main St. Lumberton, TX 77657 followed by Duane's life honoring Memorial Service at 10:00 am officiated by Crockett Finch, LMSW.,and Brother Dale Williams.
