Frank Grayson Osburn

Frank Grayson Osburn, 90, of Houston, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016. He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a 50-year Master Mason 32nd Degree Masonic Lodge 126 Orange Texas Chapter. He was a past president of the Lions Club of Port Bolivar. He was a lifetime member of IBEW Local #2286. He was a Shriner Nobel Member of El Mina, Galveston, Texas.  His family was his greatest joy and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Annie Belle Osburn; son, Rocky Osburn; sisters, Ellen Richardson and Edna Osburn; brothers, George Osburn, Henry Osburn, W.J. Osburn, Johnny Lee Osburn and Joe Osburn.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 68 years, Doris Osburn of Houston; son, Robert Osburn and Carmen Johnston of Houston; daughters, Lois Bruce and husband, Lee of Kirbyville, Diana Johnson and husband Walter of Houston; grandchildren, Cheya Kothman of Houston, Misti Prochnow of Alvin, Joshua Johnson of Houston, Gabe Osburn of Clear Lake, Wes Osburn of Saginaw Bay, MI, Kelley Osburn of Channelview, and Layne Osburn of Houston; brothers, William Osburn of Kirbyville, and Glen Osburn of Aurora, CO; 10 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

His family will receive friends and family at Lumberton Family Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday January 6, 2017. The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Carlos Gerald Ratcliff. Interment will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze.
