Ella Vee (Revia) Credeur

Ella Vee Credeur, 88, of Lumberton passed away Sunday March 1, 2015. She was all about her family. She always saw the good in everything. Ella was the life of the party and knew what to say in each situation. She was the nurturing, outspoken, strong matriarch of the family. She put everyone else before herself. She would do without so that others could have. She was a Godly woman, strong in her faith. She loved Jimmy Swaggart. She was a very good Cajun cook, each meal had to have 4 courses. With her husband, they raised race horses, traveling to the various tracks and spent many an hour watching the rodeo from their recliners. She enjoyed going dancing. A true chocaholic as any chocolate would do. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Altus Hospice, especially Nurse Charity and Nurses Aid, Stephanie.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Credeur; parents, Wesley and Dora Revia; brothers, Lawrence Revia, Pink Revia and Lee Revia; sisters, Thelma Johnson, Florence Wagner, Bertie Mae Choate and Ruth Bates.

She is survived by her children, Charles Rowley of Lumberton, John Rowley and wife, Debbie of Kirbyville, Keith Rowley of Lumberton, Jesse Rowley and wife Georgina of Beaumont, Joseph Credeur of Lumberton, June Lee of Fannett, Faye Montgomery of Bastrop and Sheila Babb and husband Richard of Lufkin.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday March 4, 2015 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home. Officiated by Brother, Charles Williams. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Lumberton Family Funeral Home Tuesday March 3, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Serving as pallbearers are Ike Revia, Mike Revia, Ray Revia, Kevin McDaniel, Howard McDaniel and Steven Frisby.
