Donald Joseph Knobloch

Donald Joseph Knobloch, 85, of Lumberton, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at his home. He was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church. He served in the Air Force for four years as a staff sergeant. He had the ability to make everyone around him laugh. He was very loving, kind and caring. Good looking too! A handsome man, he was. He liked to travel, sports, casinos and he loved his wife’s cooking, his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Abner and Eula Knobloch; brothers, Vernon Ray Knobloch, Billy James Knobloch and Tommy Williams.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Mary Knobloch of Lumberton; children, Lori Williams of Katy, Paul Knobloch of Kingwood, Eric Knobloch and wife, Judy of Katy and Mindi Jones and husband, Daniel of Palm Coast, FL; siblings, Marjorie Madeline Knobloch of Lumberton and Johnny Knobloch and wife, Theresa of Lumberton; grandchildren, Kyle Hagner, Kayla Jones, Shelbi Jones and Cody Williams; great-grandchildren, Derryk Hagner, Paxton Hagner, Evelynn Hagner and Ahryn Hagner and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. John Johnson.
