Donald Wayne Eddy

Donald W. Eddy, 63, of Vidor, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015.  He was a lover of the outdoors and animals. He enjoyed fishing. He was hard working all of his life and he never missed work. He never said no. He was always there to support his family all of his life.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Irene Haynes Eddy and his father, Thomas Eddy.

He is survived by his mother, Jean Eddy; daughters, Susan Eddy of Vidor and Cindy Dozier and husband Chris of Vidor; brother, Thomas Eddy and wife Karla of Kansas City, Mo; sisters Verna Gilbert and husband Michael of Humble, TX and Sharon Sue Gilstrap and husband Danny of Silsbee; grandchildren, Angel Decker, Stewart Buckner, Weslie Buckner and Cruz Dozier; great grandchildren, Shealyn Decker and Bryce Decker.

His family will receive friends Friday, November 27, 2015 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 27, 2015 at Lumberton Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Baker-Bel Cemetery near Fred, TX.

Serving as pallbearers will be Stewart Buckner, Weslie Buckner, Thomas Eddy, Sr., Denny Eddy, Scott Gilstrap and Shawn Gilstrap.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
