DaNell Marie (Dill) Goshen

DaNell Dill Goshen, age 43, of Kountze, TX passed away Thursday June 22, 2017. She was born to  Norman Edward Dill and Deanna Lachausse Dill on September 29, 1973 at St. Mary’s hospital in Port Arthur, Texas.                   .

DaNell was an amazing woman who could always put a smile on your face. Her strong will was accompanied by the way she brought joy into the hearts of many. She worked as a caregiver in the Home Health industry where she used her gifts of caregiving and loving support for all who were blessed to know her. Her gift of gab and heart of gold allowed her to touch many lives. She never met a stranger.  Her faith in people showed through her trusting ways and in the way she loved people “to the moon and back”.   Family came first and her husband, kids, and grand babies were her world. She was affectionately  known as “Nanno” to her grandchildren who she adored and loved spending time with. Camping and being outdoors were a favorite past time for DaNell  and her beloved husband of 18 years, Kenneth. She leaves many broken hearts but her legacy of love will continue on.

Left to honor her memory is her loving husband of 18 years, Kenneth Brent Goshen, of  Kountze, TX; father, Norman Edward Dill and his wife, Mary of Kountze; son, Tyler Goshen of Kountze; daughters, DaLisa Dill, Lysa Young of Lumberton, TX, Kourtney Davis and husband, Trenton of Nederland, TX, Callene Jung of Kerrville, TX; sisters, Darla Ramirez and husband, Tony of Nederland, TX, DierDra Bean and husband Charles of Lumberton, TX, Gail Snider and husband, Billy of Colmesneil, TX, JoLynn Collier and husband, Len of Kountze, TX, MaryJo Sumner and husband, David of Silsbee, TX; grandchildren, Payton, Easton, Karlee, Chloe, Keegan, and Hartley; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Preceding  DaNell in death are her mother, Deanna Lachausse Dill and sister, Debbie Quigley

DaNell’s life honoring memorial service will be on Wednesday June 28, 2017, 5:00 pm at Lumberton Family Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Dwight Babcock.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made for DaNell’s memorial service. An account has been set up at Gulf Employee Credit Union, Account #84491.
