Clyde Lee Dunn

Clyde Lee Dunn, 84, of Wildwood, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Herman Memorial Hospital in Houston, Texas, surrounded by his loving family whom he loved with all his heart. 

He was born on September 6, 1933, in Glenmora, Louisiana, to Martha Sledge Dunn and Otis Lee Dunn.  He was a resident of Wildwood, Texas, since 1989 where he was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church.  He graduated from Glenmora High School, was drafted in the U.S. Army, and on his return to civilian life he attended Lamar College.  Clyde was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 40 years and had retired from Dupont Beaumont Works in 1985.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He enjoyed travelling with his wife, Jimmie, and had many RV friends.  He was a faithful Christian man who was a man of his word.  He always had a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face.

Clyde is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jimmie Ruth Dunn; their two sons, James and wife, Brenda, Dennis and his wife, Amy; sister, Sylvia Johnson; grandsons, Christopher, Matthew and his wife, Elana, Jerrod, Joseph and his wife, Amber, and Lee; great-grandchildren, Marcus, Ana and Samuel, and Haylei, Hagin and Madilyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James Otis and Harold, and great-grandson, Roman.
