Christopher Thomas Avery

Christopher Thomas Avery, 36, of Lumberton, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015. He graduated from Woodville High School, he later, earned an associate degree at Lamar. He served for 15 years with the Beaumont Fire Department.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Avery; grandparents, Harold and Joan Kilmer.

He is survived by his loving wife, together for 9 years, Angela Avery of Lumberton; son, Nate Avery of Lumberton; mother, Ann Morrison; step-children, Aondrea Delatte of Lumberton, Jace Delatte of Groves and Donny Delatte and wife Lindsey of Sabine Pass, TX; mother-in-law, Irma Passmore of Lumberton; granddaughters, Mali Delatte and Paisley Webster.

His family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday April 9, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church of Beaumont. The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday April 10. 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Nathan Cothen. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers are Robert Coates, Michael Passmore, Dustin Passmore, Jace Delatte, Donny Delatte and J.R. Webster.
